CV Lawyer — Product Guide

CV Lawyer is the intelligence-consumption app. It's built for attorneys to get value out of ClientVerse without having to maintain it — see who you and the firm know, walk into meetings prepared, and capture what happened afterward with minimal effort. By design, lawyers consume intelligence; data stewardship lives in CV Admin and the BD/marketing teams.

Who uses it: attorneys, practice-group and office leaders, and anyone who needs client and relationship context on demand.

Relationship intelligence

See the firm's relationships to a client at a glance — who has the strongest Connections, where relationships run deep versus shallow, and how an account is classified. This intelligence is assembled from ERM signals and the firm's data and surfaced on the records you already work in. (Background: Business Process Library §3.2 Relationship Partner Management and §3.11 ERM Integration.)

Prepare for a meeting · 🧩 Modules — coming

The AI Actions framework will let you generate a Meeting Prep Brief (an AI-assembled summary of the account, recent activity, and relationship context) and an Account Memo (a deeper written briefing) right on the record.

🧩 ClientVerse Modules — not yet in 0.1. Modules 0.3.0 ships only the AI-action configuration object; the AI Actions framework and these briefs land in a later Modules release (built on develop, not in the 0.1 package). Until then, assemble meeting context from the Relationship intelligence and Dashboards below.

Capture a meeting afterward

Right after a meeting, the Post-Meeting Capture flow walks you through attendees, topics, and outcomes so the firm's memory of the relationship stays current. (The AI auto-summary layered on top of this capture is part of the AI Actions framework — 🧩 Modules, coming; see above. The capture flow itself is Core.) Outlook-based logging for email meetings is post-MVP.

Find clients near you

Traveling, or planning to be? The Client Locator finds clients near a given city, state, or country using fuzzy address matching and returns a ranked list — useful for setting up in-person meetings around a trip. See cv-core/docs/features/client-locator.md.

Dashboards

A CV Lawyer dashboard provides the lawyer-facing view of relationship and activity reporting, alongside the firm's shared report folders. See cv-core/docs/features/bd5.3-bd-analytics-reporting.md.

Staying informed · 🧩 Modules

Relevant updates — review requests, digests, follow-ups — reach you through the Dispatch notification framework as in-app notifications and email digests, so you don't have to go looking. What's coming

Deeper lawyer-facing capability arrives in later phases — advanced relationship intelligence, predictive insights, and richer mobile/Outlook integration (see Business Process Library §4.x and §5.2). This guide covers today's MVP surface.
