CV Experience — Product Guide

CV Experience is where the firm's matter records and experience live, and where newly discovered relationships get reviewed before they become part of the firm's official record. In the MVP, its center of gravity is Experience Review Management (ERM) — the human checkpoint that keeps relationship data trustworthy.

Who uses it: experience/matter managers, knowledge management, and the marketing/BD staff who curate the firm's relationship record.

Experience Review Management (ERM)

The system continuously surfaces newly discovered contacts (from ERM signals and integrations) into a review queue. Reviewers decide what's real and what's private before it propagates:

  • Promote — make the contact active in the firm's record.
  • Mark Private — keep it out of the shared view.
  • Delete — discard noise.
  • Tag — classify it for downstream use.

Reviewers work from a dedicated interface; an admin queue provides oversight. Subscription management lets users opt in or out of specific review queues, and token-based email actions let reviewers act straight from a notification without logging in.

  • Feature: cv-core/docs/features/erm-contact-review.md.
  • Operational depth (architecture, QA walkthrough, site setup) lives with the code in cv-core/docs/dispatch/ — see the admin guide for setup.
  • Process: Business Process Library §3.11 (ERM Integration & Relationship Intelligence).

Matters & experience

Matter and experience records are the backbone CV Lawyer and CV BD draw on — they're what "depth of relationship" and "whitespace" are measured against. In the MVP these underpin the relationship intelligence surfaced elsewhere; the full-featured Experience Management app (richer experience capture, search, and reuse) is a Phase 3 enhancement — see Business Process Library §4.2.

Bio builder & experience management

Attorney bios and experience statements are assembled from matter and experience data (Business Process Library §3.6, Bio Builder & Experience Management). This is the process that turns raw matter records into the credentials used in pitches and directory submissions.

What's coming

CV Experience expands substantially in Phase 3: the full Experience Management app, plus adjacent capabilities like awards & directory submissions and client family / cross-practice visibility (Business Process Library §4.2, §4.9, §4.18).
